Pitch Perfect star ANNA CAMP comes out as bisexu@l after going public with 24-year-old girlfriend

Tuesday, March, 10 2026 - American actress, Anna Camp has come out publicly as bisexu@l after revealing last year she was queer.

The Scream 7 actress made her reveal in a preview of Tuesday's episode of the podcast I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario, which was shared by People.

'As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexu@lity at this age,' Camp said.

'I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I'm really proud to be bisexual.'

The star said she realized she was bisexual when she experienced a 'major evolution' in her forties. She added she was proud of 'not being afraid of it.'

'Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk, and this is scary, and I'm doing it in a public forum. But to say, "No, I only get one life, and I want to be happy," that's what life is all about,' she added.

'You think you've got this idea of who you are and that's how your life is going to go,' she said on the podcast.

'And that's happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, no, I'm done evolving.'

She said she hopes 'to continue to evolve and to learn.'

In May 2025, she took her romance with writer Jade Whipkey, 24, public. Then in July 2025, she told Cosmopolitan that she and Whipkey were shocked by the attention they received for dating.

'We've been a bit surprised by all of the hubbub, but there's been a lot of support so we're very grateful and thankful for everybody who is supportive of us. It's lovely,' she said at the time.

She used to be married to Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013. She then married her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin in 2016, but they separated in April 2019 and finalized their divorce that same year.

Camp shot to fame in the original Pitch Perfect film in 2012 amid a cast that included Rebel, Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Adam DeVine.
