Tuesday, March, 3 2026 - Members of Lagos State House of Assembly have confirmed the appointment of Mrs Adebisi Adelabu as General Manager of Lagos State Parking Authority, LASPA.
The lawmakers confirmed her appointment at plenary on
Monday.
Her approval is coming after the lawmakers had earlier
rejected her appointment a few weeks ago, citing irregularities.
But after months of legislative scrutiny, the lawmakers
sealed her appointment.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, who
presided over the plenary said the confirmation was pursuant to Section 92 of
the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.
He added that the lawmakers had found her worthy to be
appointed for the position.
