Tuesday, March, 10 2026 - Five suspected bandits have been killed during a security operation carried out by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The development was disclosed in a post shared on X on
Monday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Makama, citing local sources, said the security team engaged
the armed men during the raid, resulting in the deaths of five suspected
bandits.
He added that the troops also recovered several items from
the scene of the operation.
“Hours ago, Joint Task Force (JTF) carried out operation in
Kan Biri outskirt, Kwaren Ganuwa district in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State.
“According to local sources, five bandits were killed, while
motorcycles and firearms were recovered during the raid.
“Kudos to the JTF risking their lives daily to counter armed
groups and protect communities,” Bakatsine wrote.
