planks and other objects and descended on the woman, beating her repeatedly.
A concerned member of the public attempted to hide her in a

during the incident, three police officers were injured while a police vehicle
had its windscreen smashed by the mob.
"Investigations into the matter have been instituted,
and further updates will be provided in due course," Kaitisha stated.
Barely a week ago, a similar incident was reported in
Chingola where a 61-year-old man was beaten and accused of making men’s private
parts disappear after allegedly tapping them on the shoulder.
However, police investigations later confirmed that all the
complainants had their weapons of mass reproduction still intact.
The suspect was released due to lack of evidence and the
culprits were arrested.
Meanwhile, Police have strongly condemned the act of mob
justice and have warned members of the public against taking the law into their
own hands.
