Sunday, March, 21 2026 - Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested two suspected informants linked to terrorist groups in Mainok area of Kaga Local Government Area of Borno state.
Security sources said the suspects were apprehended at about
3:00 a.m. on March 18, 2026 following credible intelligence on the movement of
suspected informants within the area.
The sources said troops of 156 Task Force Battalion swiftly
mobilised to the location after receiving information from local sources on
suspicious activities around Mainok general area.
"During the operation, two civilians suspected to be
informants for Boko Haram were apprehended,” the source said.
Items recovered from the suspects included electrical cables
believed to be linked to terrorist logistics and support activities.
