Man defiles his landlord's 8-year-old daughter in Delta

Monday, February 16 2026 -A man identified as Ugbome Ifeanyi Thompson has been arrested for allegedly def!ling his landlord's 8-year-old daughter Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

Human rights activist Comrade Israel Joe, who confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Sunday, February 15, 2026 said the victim's father is currently sick. 

According to Mr. Joe, the suspect allegedly s3xually abused the minor several times and threatened to harm her if she told anyone. 

“His landlord is down with a stroke-like illness and this Amunike tenant Ugbome Ifeanyi Thompson allegedly dęfíIęd the landlord's 8 years old daughter and started sleeping with her almost every time while threatening her not to talk. Thanks to Uncle Nasco who called my attention to it,” he wrote.

"Anyways he has been arrested and detained at Orerokpe police station of the Nigeria Police Force. 

"I have called the DPO CSP Paul and the suspect will be transferred to the state CID of the Delta State Police Command for further investigations and prosecution 

"His family has been pleading with 1 million naira that would punish them. Very wicƙęd and heartless ìdìøț wen dem nor dey use eyes see small pikin wen don dey develop bręąst
