Imafidon Jesurobo Frank, Godstime Iliyoma, Lukeman Itsagwode, Usifoh Omomgiade
and Ibhafidon Omonkhegbe.
She said the arrest of Usifo Omojale, the suspected kingpin
of the gang led to the arrest of the other suspects.
She said the suspects were apprehended by operatives of the
Intelligence Rapid Response Team.
The Command’s image maker added that the Intelligence Rapid
Response Team’s duty is to move against suspected criminal gangs alleged to be
involved in kidnapping, extortion, cultism, and other violent acts terrorising
residents.
She alleged that intelligence revealed that the gang were
holding a meeting at a hotel when they were arrested.
She said the operatives led by CSP Idaba Peter stormed the
location and successfully arrested the suspects.
Ikoedem alleged that the suspects who have confessed to
being members of Aye confraternity cult would be arraigned in court while
