Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - Victor Moses has signed for FC Kaysar Kyzylorda in the Kazakhstan Premier League on a free transfer, marking the 11th club of his playing career.
The former Super Eagles of Nigeria winger signed a one-year
deal to play for the struggling Kazakhstan club.
“Kaysar Football Club officially announces that experienced
midfielder Victor Moses has signed a contract with the team. The former
Nigerian international will represent the Kyzylorda-based club in the upcoming
season,” the club said.
“Victor Moses is a player widely recognised for his
experience at several top European clubs and his high-level expertise on the
field. His arrival at Kaysar FC is a clear indication of the club’s ambitions
for the new season.
“The club management and coaching staff believe that
Victor’s experience and skill will have a positive impact on the team’s
development and the growth of younger players. We wish Victor Moses every
success in his time with Kaysar FC!”
According to Vesti.kz, Moses’ contract will be for one year.
The 35-year-old has been without a club since leaving Luton
Town in May last year, after the English club were relegated to League One. His
move to Kaysar is Moses’ second free transfer since leaving Spartak Moscow,
where he spent three years after the end of his Chelsea career.
Moses, who can operate both as a winger and a wing-back,
enjoyed a decorated career in Europe, beginning at Crystal Palace in 2007
before moving to Wigan Athletic in 2010.
He joined Chelsea in 2012, where he was part of the squad
that won the 2016/17 Premier League. He later enjoyed loan spells at Liverpool,
Stoke City, West Ham United, Fenerbahçe, Inter Milan, and Spartak Moscow,
before a permanent stay at Spartak Moscow between 2021 and 2024.
