Wednesday, January 14, 2026 - A Nigerian
doctor has revealed the shocking thing a patient did to him after she tested
positive to HIV at a General House in Lagos.
In a post shared on X, the doctor with the handle
@silverpenydr stated that he had earlier informed the lady that she had tested
positive to HIV. He mentioned that the lady became emotional and dismissed the
result, demanding that another test be done. The doctor said that two days
later, the test result came back again, positive. He said shortly after he
relayed the new test result to her, the lady went ahead to do the unthinkable.
He said she brought out a needle and attempted to stab him with a needle she
had.
He said he escalated the matter and she was discharged
immediately.
