Monday, January 5, 2026 - Bandits have attacked Unguwar Daudu community in Dukke ward, Funtua local government area of Katsina State, injuring two residents and abducting at least 20 others.
The development was disclosed on Monday by Bakatsine, a

Bakatsine said the attack comes despite multiple peace deals
brokered by local authorities, questioning the real value of the peace deal in
Katsina State.
He wrote: “ALERT: Last night, bandits attacked Unguwar Daudu
community in Dukke ward, Funtua LGA of Katsina State, injuring two residents
and abducting at least 20 others. The attack comes despite multiple peace deals
brokered by local authorities.
“What is undermining these agreements, and how can civilian
