Saturday, January 10, 2026 - Drama broke out at an office in Abuja when a suspected thief stole an iPhone from a woman's bag and tried to escape on a motorcycle.
According to one Odette Okwukwe, the incident happened at
her office on Friday, January 9, 2026.
She explained that the suspect discreetly took the phone
from the woman's bag and immediately jumped on a bike to flee but luck ran out
on him when a man who witnessed the theft raised an alarm and blocked
him.
“He stole an iPhone 16, jumped on a bike and was blocked
instantly by the man holding him down. Lady in the purple, that is the owner of
the iPhone 16 and she didn’t even know her phone was gone until the man raised
an alarm because he saw him take it from her bag and jumped on the bike.
Nsogbu,” she wrote.
