Nigerian women have reacted after human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, shared
his experience handling cases of paternity fraud.
According to Effiong, the paternity fraud caused his clients
emotional distress while one of the women showed no remorse for her action.
Some of the women reacted sarcastically to the post by
taking a sarcastic dig at the justification for infidelity based on the claim
that men are naturally polygamous.
Others blamed the men for not looking s3xy, praying or
fasting enough, yet another swipe at men who blame women for their husband's
infidelity, citing lack of attractiveness.
“DNA testing is not African culture. Paternity tests are not
our culture. All these are western civilization that want to destroy the family
unit. A true African man is the father to all the children his wife has,” one
Ifeoma Ojeifo wrote.
“If a man discovers that his wife has a child outside
wedlock, he has to by all means PRAY for her. He should also make sure to sleep
naked to seduce her so that she does not look outside. He should keep his
SUKRUTUM clean and smell nice. He must also be very patient with her. Above
all, he should show that he loves her by accepting the child of his wife's side

with him,” one Stephanie Nnadi wrote.
One Roberta Edu wrote: “Maybe the man was all over the place
cheating on his wife, thinking he can eat his cake and still have it. What he
didn't know was that, he actually married his type. Why is he in court tori
olorun, it is only paternity issues, he can pray about it, he should look sexy
for his wife so that she wouldn't go outside again. Small paternity fraud is
why he is crying, all children are from above.”
