Monday, December 22, 2025 - A Nigerian woman, Tovia, reunited with her family amid tears, cries of joy and embraces after a successful kidney transplant.
A friend, Anosike Ogochukwu, on Sunday shared a celebratory
video showing the heartwarming and emotional moment Tovia reunited with her
children, mother and other family members in her hometown.
According to Anosike, when Tovia was diagnosed with kidney disease after giving birth to her twins, her husband abandoned her for another woman.
Tovia spoke out from her hospital bed, appealing to
Nigerians to come to her aid so she could live a normal life again and take
care of her children.
Through media personality, Okwuluora, well-meaning Nigerians
raised money for the kidney transplant.
"Drop your congratulations. If you are on TikTok you
will know my friend. Her kidneys failed while giving birth to her twins.Her
husband moved on with another lady in less than a year. Was even posting the
girl on his status, a status his wife still views. My friend will call me every
day crying. She came out and cried to the public through the help of Okwulora.
Nigerians raised money for her. And today she is back, back to her mother
