Tuesday, December 30, 2025 - A video circulating on social media has shown British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua visibly in pain as he was rushed to a hospital following a road accident in Ogun State.
The accident occurred in Makun, Ogun State, when the Lexus
SUV conveying Joshua, with registration number KRD 850 HN, collided with a
stationary truck along the road on Monday, December 29.
The British-Nigerian boxer, who was visibly in pain,
was pulled from the wreckage of the car and helped into
another vehicle before being rushed to the hospital.
Joshua was said to have sustained minor injuries and was
taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Tragically, two other
individuals involved in the crash reportedly d!ed on the spot.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the
cause of the accident.
