One killed as teenager goes on pepper spray and stabbing spree at Moscow school

 Thursday, December 18, 2025 - A 15-year-old schoolboy has stabbed and k!lled a 10-year-old fellow pupil at his school in the village of Gorki-2, west of Moscow, Russia’s Investigative Committee said on Tuesday, Dec. 16, adding that the attacker had been detained at the scene.  

Timofey K, 15, had planned to kill the math teacher but when he couldn’t find him, he went after students 

The teen asked students their nationality during rampage before he chased a child down and stabbed him three times at the elite Moscow school. He then took a selfie with his body. 

The ninth-grader recorded himself holding a knife to the class during the rampage. 

He wore a helmet and bulletproof vest emblazoned with neo-Nazi slogans and "No Lives Matter" as he searched for his substitute maths teacher who had regularly scolded him for poor performance, according to Russian news outlets. 

Timofey K, who also pepper-sprayed a security guard and attacked a staff member, pleaded guilty, TASS news agency reports. 

Armed SWAT officers stormed the school and arrested the teen. 

Police say he wrote an 11-page manifesto prior to the attack and distributed it to his classmates. 

In it, he described his hatred of society, dividing people by nationality and religion.  

Timofey K, got past metal detectors at the school in the morning and changed clothes in a toilet, according to news channel Mash.

He spent eight minutes trying to find his maths teacher – Maria Dmitrievna – who he claimed was not ethnically Russian. 

After failing to track her down, another teacher urged him to "calm down" to which he replied 'I haven’t done anything yet". 

He pepper sprayed security guard, Dmitry Pavlov, when he tried to disarm him. 

The teenager, described as being quiet and having skipped classes recently, was asking students their nationalities during the rampage. 

He then chased a 10-year-old boy through the school, shouting "Come here, you black-a*s c**k-sucker." 

The victim, believed to be the son of the school’s cleaning lady, di£d from his stab wounds. 

This was all caught on camera as he recorded the attack on his phone and took a selfie with the body. 

Other students barricaded themselves into classrooms to stop the knife-wielding teen from reaching them. 

More than 100 children also took refuge in a nearby sports complex. 

After armed police raided the school and apprehended Timofey K, they found an object resembling an IED inside the building. 

The attacker had posted on social media before the rampage, showing him wearing a helmet and doing a Nazi salute. 

The far-right or nihilist group promotes terrorism, violence, and human extinction and overlaps with neo-Nazism and satanic extremism. 

In one picture, he can be seen holding a piece of paper with Tuesday’s date and containing the word "Sygaown", which stands for "Stop Your Genocide Against Our White Nations". 

The helmet also had the number 2083 on it, which references the Norwegian far-right terrorist Anders Behring Breivik’s manifesto, 2083: A European Declaration of Independence. 

Other messaging also referred to the 2022 massacre in the S.A.S. and the New Zealand mass murderer, Brenton Tarrant. 

The knife attack comes a day after a teacher was allegedly knifed in the back and twice in the chest by a student. The teacher, who is fighting for her life, was targeted by a 15-year-old pupil in St Petersburg.
