Tuesday, December 30, 2025 - Libya’s interior ministry says a group of Nigerian migrants has been deported from Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli as part of an ongoing national repatriation programme.
The ministry said the deportations took place after all
necessary procedures were completed and formed part of wider efforts to address
irregular migration.
Officials confirmed that the programme to return migrants to
their countries of origin remains ongoing.
