Husband charged with murder of former Miss Switzerland finalist

Thursday, December 11, 2025 - The husband accused of dec@pitating his Miss Switzerland finalist wife, cutting out her womb and pureeing her body parts in a blender while watching YouTube videos has been formally charged with her murd£r, Swiss officials announced.

The former beauty queen, Kristina Joksimovic, 38, was found dismembered in her home in February 2024 in Binningen, near the city of Basel in Switzerland, and her husband allegedly admitted to strangling her.

Her husband, only identified as Thomas in Swiss media reports due to privacy laws, was hit with murd£r charges Wednesday, Dec. 10, after the Basel-Landschaft Public Prosecutor’s Office concluded its investigation.

A trial date has not yet been set.

Joksimovic’s body was dismembered with a jigsaw, knife and garden shears, according to an autopsy report and court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

An autopsy report also revealed that Thomas, 43, had also allegedly removed Joksimovic’s womb, which was the only organ cut out of her torso.

Several of her body parts were then chopped up with an industrial blender, “pureed” and dissolved in a chemical solution, officials confirmed.

Investigators later learned that Thomas was watching YouTube videos on his phone while he dismembered the model, according to court documents.

Joksimovic’s butchered body was discovered by her horrified father when he spotted blond hair sticking out of a black bag in the laundry room, a friend told the Daily Mail.

Investigators found the blender and the model’s remains, including flaps of skin with muscles still attached, as well as chunks of bone.

In order to dismember his wife, Thomas allegedly broke her hip joints out of their sockets and proceeded to remove her upper left arm, forearms and right lower leg, according to the autopsy report.

He then severed her spine in order to chop off her head, the report states.

The model’s husband and father of their two daughters reportedly admitted that he k!lled her in March, but said it was to protect himself after she had previously attacked him with a knife.

He made the confession after he’d earlier told authorities that he came home to find her de@d and mutilated.

However, medical experts found no evidence of self-defense and identified her cause of de@th as strangulation.

Thomas showed a “remarkably high level of criminal energy, lack of empathy, and cold-bloodedness after k!lling his wife,” police noted in court documents, according to local outlet Blick.

Joksimovic was crowned Miss Northwest Switzerland and in 2007 was a finalist for Miss Switzerland.

She later ran her own business as a catwalk coach, and mentored model Dominique Rinderknecht for the Miss Universe pageant in 2013.
