Wednesday, December 24, 2025 - Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has cautioned football lovers with heart complications or high blood pressure against watching the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Sani gave the warning ahead of the AFCON opening match
between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and their Tanzanian counterparts.
Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “My prayers for
Super Eagles victory over Tanzania.
“My advice to those of you with Heart complications or High
Blood Pressure; avoid watching AFCON.
“Every year we lose people as a result of watching such
tough matches.”
