Friday, December 26, 2025 -A human rights activist and Convener of the Recover Nigeria Project, Comrade Osita Obi has advised the Minister of Power Mr. Adebayo Adelabu to resign for poor performance.
Obi said Adelabu, should not only resign but “tender
unreserved apology to Nigerians for giving them darkness instead light during
this festive period”.
In a statement in Awka, Obi said that in a civilised clime,
Adelabu should not wait for a call for his resignation before throwing in the
towel.
“The man has no vision and capacity to lead a ministry like
power ministry. He is a square peg in a round hole”, Obi concluded.
