Tuesday, December 23, 2025 - Activist, Joe Isreal, is demanding justice for a 43-year-old man identified a Erhieyove Erhiga Matthew, be@ten to de@th for allegedly dating a ‘’married woman'.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, Isreal said the woman
in question had been separated from her husband, Onoriode Efferunu, for over a
year. According to him, the woman left her marriage due to domestic víølęncę
and irreconcilable differences. Isreal alleged that the estranged husband vowed
to deal with any man who comes close to her. He accused the estranged husband
of orchestrating the attack on the deceased which led to his de@th.
His post reads
''This man
here named Erhieyovwe Erhiga Matthew, 43 years old was beaten to dęąth.
It was
ęxęcuted in Okoroke -Ovu after Oviore, Ethiope East Local Government of Delta
State.
He was
accused of dating a married woman. The said woman has been separated from her
husband named Onoriode Efferunu for about a year, but the husband promised her
that any man she stands with would face his wrath.
The lady has
four children for the husband and left the marriage due to domestic v!ølęncę
and irreconcilable differences.
Being that
the said Onoriode is seen as a stakeholder in the community who has a loud
voice, he publicly and systematically ęxęcųted this young man on an allegation
that he was seen standing close to his separated wife.
Mr. Matthew
met his dę@th on the 28th of October when community youths pounced on him,
alleging that he slept with the woman because they saw him discussing with her.
All attempt to talk about his innocence proved abortive as they continuously
bę@t him up tieing his two hands and legs. They led him with bIøød on him to
the elders who did nothing to stop these youths and, of course, the woman's
husband who now denies sending them.

woman has opened up and swore that she had nothing ever to do with this young
man but her husband only wants to show that he owns the earth by keeping to his
promise that she can never stand with any man or the man would face the wrath
of his anger.
A woman you

following up, and the Mr. Onoriode's lawyer is right now at the State Command
headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force Asaba, seeking bail for all the
culprits arrested over this gruesome mųrdęr. The State CID should know that
this matter is of public interest, hence, the IPO should thread with caution
make we all nor go dance nąkęd for public the way dem n@kęd the guy.

Meanwhile, those elders should also be invited and arrested for conspiracy
because they appeared to be sitting in the meeting and had the opportunity to
save the man but rather have a verdict leading to the execution for which when
the family arrived and rushed him to the hospital, he could not survive the
