13-year-old boy escapes from kidnappers’ den after abduction in Minna

Friday, December 5, 2025 - The Niger State Police Command has announced the rescue of a 13-year-old boy, Saifullahi Daddi, who was abducted in Minna and found in Gombe State.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, December 4, 2025 said the boy escaped from the vehicle where his captors kept him. 

The PPRO urged relatives, parents, or guardians to contact the police. 

“This is to inform members of the public that one Saifullahi Daddi, a 13yr old boy of Wasagi village via Lemu, Gbako LGA was found in Dukkul area of Gombe State on December 3rd, 2025 wandering around,” the statement read. 

"The victim narrated that on November 30, 2025 at about 2pm, he was taken away by unknown persons when he was at Minna market with his relatives, until he found himself in a vehicle where he was kept before he escaped, and found out that he was in Gombe State.

“This is hereby circulated for relatives, parents, or guardians that the boy was found and he is in Police custody. You may contact Police PRO for further assistance on 08032233454.”
