On the day of the incident, Kendirci was allegedly

Bozova Asri Cemetery, according to Sozcu.
Suat Özçağdaş, who is a member of the Turkish parliament,
was among those commenting on the incident, writing on X that the
teenager was "tortured while working as an apprentice in a carpentry
workshop," stating that the victim should have been at school instead in
the translated statement.
"The prosecutor's office initially stated that the
incident was a joke, not torture," Özçağdaş wrote on Nov. 19. "Having
struggled to hold on to life for five days, Muhammed tragically passed away
today."
