Friday, November 7, 2025 - The Country Director of Linkway Outreach Africa, Pastor Daniel Adejoh has called on Nigerians to stop the blame game over alleged genocide and focus on collective efforts to end killings across the country.
Adejoh made the appeal in Abuja on Thursday while reacting
to recent comments by United States President Donald Trump on alleged
persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
He said the remarks should serve as a wake-up call for
Nigerians to promote unity and protect human lives rather than using them to
stir division.
“This is not the time to trade blame. Life is sacred and
must never be taken under any guise,” Adejoh stated, adding that killings
violate both domestic and international laws.
The cleric noted that violence has persisted in several
parts of the country for decades despite the efforts of successive governments.
He urged the federal government to take advantage of the
renewed global focus to strengthen foreign policy and deepen cooperation with
developed nations in the fight against terrorism.
“Terrorism is a global problem. Nigeria must work with other
countries to wipe out terrorist and criminal groups operating within its
borders,” he said.
Adejoh also advised the government to engage constructively
with the United States to secure support in addressing insecurity, while
commending President Bola Tinubu for his ongoing efforts to enhance national
security.
