Friday, November 14, 2025 - A self-proclaimed Nigerian polygamist, John-Paul Ugwu, has hailed Senator Ned Nwoko's 5th wife, after she called out her junior co-wife, Regina Daniels,
The Nollywood actress had claimed to have given her co-wife,
Laila Charani, money, alleging she was "feeding" Laila in their
matrimonial home.
Countering the claim, Laila said she never got money from
Regina and also accused her of fighting their husband because he wants to stop
her alleged “drug and alcohol addiction."
According to Laila, their husband has always been clear that
he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes or uses drugs as he
completely hates such habits.
Taking to Facebook, Ugwu, who recently celebrated his wives,
said that what Laila did is one of the reasons he cherishes polygamy.
“Interesting! Why I love and cherish polygamy is, when one
wife tries to bully you, the rest will come after her while you rest. I have
been expecting this part,” he wrote.
