Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - A Chinese national working with ASBA Mining Company Group has d!ed after collapsing at a quarry site in Wasa village in Abuja.
The incident was reported to
the Kabusa Division at about 2:56 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2025 by Mohammed
Abdulkareem, a staff member of the company.
Abdulkareem told the police
that the victim, identified as Cao Chunri, 53, slumped at the company’s
premises at about 2 p.m. on Sunday.
He was immediately rushed to
the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, where he was later confirmed d3ad by a
medical doctor.
Upon receipt of the report,
detectives visited the hospital and photographed the remains.
The quarry site was also
visited for further assessment.
According to security analyst
Zagazola Makama, the corpse has been deposited at the FMC Jabi mortuary for
preservation and autopsy, while investigation into the circumstances
surrounding the d3ath has commenced at the State Criminal Investigation Department
(SCID).
