Friday, October 3, 2025 - Melissa Rycroft, former Bachelor star and Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, TMZ reports.
According to law enforcement sources, Rycroft was taken into
custody on September 23, booked into a local jail, and held for eight hours
before posting a $1,000 bond. She was released with a promise to appear in
court, though details of the arrest remain unclear.
Her attorney, Bret Martin, issued a statement urging the
public not to rush to judgment: “I want to remind the public of the fundamental
principle of our justice system…every individual is presumed innocent until
proven guilty. My client was arrested on the allegation of Driving While
Intoxicated. An arrest is no indication of guilt.”
Martin added that the case requires a careful review of law
enforcement conduct, toxicology results, and other surrounding facts, stressing
that conclusions should only be drawn after all evidence has been analyzed in
court.
Rycroft, 41, first gained fame in 2009 on The Bachelor
before appearing on Dancing with the Stars and later hosting shows like
Bachelor Pad. She has not yet publicly commented on the arrest.
