Sunday, October 26, 2025 - Outspoken Plateau State clergy, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has revealed that he has instructed his family and church members not to contribute money to pay ransom if he is kidnapped by Fulani militants.
In the past few days, Dachomo, who is the Regional Chairman
for the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, in Barkin Ladi local government
area of Plateau State, has been staging a sustained war against bandits and
militants who have been attacking communities in the council, killing hundreds
of innocent people.
On October 25th, Rev. Dachomo raised an alarm when he cried
out over alleged plot to eliminate him for daring to release a video where
Christians are killed in the state – to support several claims of Christian
genocide in Nigeria, especially in Plateau State.
In another video message shared on social media platforms on
Sunday, the cleric insinuated that he has been marked to be kidnapped.
However, he stated that he is ready for his would-be
abductors and will even beg them to kill him quickly, as they will not be paid
any money as ransom.
He noted that despite the love Christians have shown to the
Fulanis and Muslims, they have resorted to being a thorn in the flesh of the
local people in the state.
“We are showing them mercy, we are showing them love, but
they didn’t see,” he said in the video.
“I don’t know whether I will be the next to be kidnapped. I
have already told my family and my members; if they kidnap me, nobody should
contribute one kobo.
“If they kill me, my grave will speak. My blood will raise a
war that will lead to Christian liberation. That day is coming. I am just
waiting for them to come and kidnap me.
“I will even tell them, ‘Please kill me quickly,’ because no
one will pay them any ransom. And if they call home, they will tell them our
daddy’s covenant was that we should not pay you a kobo, ‘please kill him’
because my blood will be useful while I’m in the grave, and will fight to
finish, and I know Jesus has approved that for me.
“I will be more dangerous in the world of the dead. I will
not even be in the world of the dead, I will ascend to paradise, but from
paradise, I will make the Muslims very uncomfortable, which will lead them to
repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
“That day is coming. That is the desire of my heart. God said ‘I will give you the desires of your heart. I want to see Muslims repenting; I want to see Fulanis repenting and accepting Jesus as theirpersonal Lord and Saviour,” the fiery man of God stated
