Friday, October 17, 2025 - Nigerian comedian and skit maker Zic Saloma has opened up about his decision to undergo nose surgery, revealing that the procedure was motivated by years of insecurity about his appearance.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the skit maker
explained that he had lost several opportunities in the entertainment industry
because of how he looked, prompting him to make a change through cosmetic
surgery.
According to Zic Saloma, the surgery helped boost his
self-confidence and made him feel more comfortable in his own skin.
He also encouraged people who can afford safe cosmetic
procedures to go ahead with them if it helps improve their confidence and
self-esteem.
He said, “I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t
comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the
past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it
will make you feel better, go for it.”
The comedian, who previously revealed that he had
rhinoplasty in Turkey, shared that the procedure lasted over four hours and
also included a facelift and eye rejuvenation.
He disclosed that the entire process cost about $11,000,
though he didn’t pay for the surgery itself as it was part of a collaboration
with the hospital.
Zic Saloma, known for his humorous skits and multi-character
performances, said the transformation has made him more confident and ready to
take on new opportunities in the industry.
