Thursday, September 11, 2025 - England-born Nigerian defender Emmanuel Airoboma has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool.
The Premier League champions announced the deal in a
statement on their official website on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old, who has been part of Liverpool’s Academy
since the U12 level, is primarily a centre-back but can also play as a right
full-back.
Airoboma was a regular with the U18 squad last season and has
now stepped up to join Rob Page’s U21 group. He made his Premier League 2 debut
on August 25 as a substitute in a 3-2 away defeat to Burnley.
He was also included in the matchday squad for the EFL Trophy
clash against Burton Albion’s senior team, though he remained an unused
substitute.
