Monday, September 22, 2025 - Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has opened up about her finances after launching her modeling career earlier this year.
“I’m financially independent,” the 21-year-old revealed at
the Teen Vogue 2025 Summit in Los Angeles on Saturday. “I’m making money now.
Pre-Teen Vogue [cover], no. People have a lot of assumptions, and you just
kinda have to deal with that.”
Wilson, who appeared on the March cover of Teen Vogue,
reflected on her career journey and clarified misconceptions about her wealth.
“I haven’t made any money from being famous at all,” she told
the outlet. “I have made zero dollars and zero cents. I do live in a lot of
people’s heads rent-free, though.”
Initially, Wilson dreamed of becoming a model, but she
admitted she once considered streaming on Twitch before ultimately setting her
sights on reality TV. “It would be my absolute dream to be on a reality show,”
she said.
Earlier this month, she also addressed her financial
situation in an interview with The Cut. “People assume I have a lot of money,”
she explained, adding that she lives with several roommates to save.
“I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my
disposal. My mom is rich, right? But, obviously, the other one is unimaginable
degrees of wealthy,” she said, referring to her father. Wilson emphasized that
she has no desire to be “super-rich” like Musk, though she admits she is “much
more fortunate than most people my age in Los Angeles.”
The social media personality, made her runway debut in May at
a RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10 event in New York City, where she
wowed the crowd with her performance. The following month, it was announced
that she would be starring in Pattie Gonia’s Save Her! drag show in Los
Angeles.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram at the time, Wilson
wrote: “AHHHH I’m so excited,” while celebrating her first drag performance.
