Monday, September 8, 2025 - Kaduna governor Uba Sani named President Tinubu and late Gani Fawehinmi as his political mentors, leaving out his predecessor El-Rufai
The Kaduna state governor revealed this on Sunday, September
7, while responding to questions during an interview on TVC.
El-Rufai had earlier described Sani as his mentee, but Sani
dismissed the claims, stressing his focus on governance rather than political
labels
Sani recalled meeting Tinubu in 1994 and living with
Fawehinmi during activism struggles, describing both as key influences in his
political journey
