The Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Barau
I. Jibrin, has unveiled plans to sponsor the weddings of 440 indigenes of Kano
State.
The initiative, which includes financial empowerment for the
newlyweds, was announced by a close associate of the senator, Alhaji Fahad Ogan
Boye, during a press briefing in Kano.
