Nigerian woman reveals statement his boyfriend made that she believed was a red flag.

Sunday, August 17, 2025 - A Nigerian woman, Unande Adoo has revealed that she broke up with a man she was dating after he told her to lose weight, a statement she believed to be a red flag. 

She stated this in a Facebook post on Sunday while advising people to walk away from abusive relationships. 

"Someone I was dating jokingly made a statement , "Madam, try and start losing this your weight." That was the last day he saw me, till date he is still wondering what happened," she wrote in a Facebook post. 

"If it's not working leave alive or you will leave in a body bag. Forget shame or what people will say, some people you see living the perfect lifestyle on Facebook are not finding it funny at home away from public eyes
