Saturday, July 19, 2025 - Lere Olayinka, the spokesperson to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has taken a dig at Senator Ireti Kingibe, the Senator representing FCT in the Senate, over the recent allegations she leveled against his principal.
In a fresh interview with Arise TV, Kingibe claimed Wike
allocated some parcel of land in the FCT to his sons and drastically reduced
land title fees from N200 million to N2 million within 48 hours.According to
her, she has documents to back up these claims. She described Wike's action as
both "unfair and unethical."
Reacting to her claims, Olayinka in a post shared on his X
handle, argued that ‘’responsible people'' release evidence they have against
anyone to the public and relevant agencies and not going on national TV to make
damning claims.
He wrote
‘’Responsible
and serious people don't go on National TV to say "I have evidence of
corruption by Govt officials," they display whatever evidence they have,
release them to the public and forward same to relevant anti-corruption
agencies
That
Accidental Senator, Ireti (alias Kingibe), who is impersonating by bearing the
name of a man she is no longer married to should go back to the TV station and
display the documents she claimed to have on the FCT Minister, Nyesom
Wike.
Like I have said, the Senate seat she got accidentally in 2023 won't be retained in 2027, using Wike as a launchpad. The earlier she knows and accept this, the better for Madam Impersonator.''
