CRISTIANO RONALDO confirms intention to play for Al Nassr next season

Monday, June 9, 2025 - Cristiano Ronaldo has ended rumours about his future by confirming that he will play for Al-Nassr again next season.

The Portuguese playmaker was linked with an exit for the upcoming summer window, after going trophyless with Al-Nassr. However, the 40-year-old has now put those rumours to rest after following Portugal’s win in the UEFA Nations League final against Spain yesterday.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s post on X on Monday, the Portuguese dismissed rumours of leaving Al Nassr.

The post read, “Cristiano Ronaldo confirms plan to stay at Al Nassr by signing a new deal.

“My future? Basically, nothing is gonna change. Staying at Al Nassr? Yea.”

This means that he will not be participating in the 32-team FIFA Club World Cup, which begins in the United States on June 14, having been linked to a number of teams that will compete in the competition.
