“There’s a Joy that comes with going Solo” – Mr. P of P-SQUARE addresses split with twin brother and music partner PAUL OKOYE

Sunday, May 25, 2025 - Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has addressed the split from his twin brother and music partner, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy).

Speaking in a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos, Mr P said there is a unique joy that comes with pursuing a solo career.

“There’s a joy that comes with going solo. Please respect our decisions. We’ve tried it; it’s not working,” he said.

This comes months after Paul confirmed that P-Square had broken up again. The duo first split in 2016 and reunited in 2021.
