Wednesday, May 21, 2025 - Panic gripped residents of Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, as a motorcyclist identified as Nazifi Ibrahim was gruesomely k!lled by unknown assailants.
The incident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on Monday, May 19,
2025 on Alafia Street, along the Ore/Benin Expressway.
According to a source, the motorcyclist, who hailed from
Northern Nigeria, had taken a passenger to Alafia Street from Ore before he was
gruesomely m8rdered by the assailants suspected to be motorcycle
snatchers.
“We don’t know what transpired between the deceased and the
unknown assailants before he was shot d3ad,” the source said.
The remains of the victim have been buried according to
Islamic rites in Ore.
A police source who confirmed the incident said an
investigation has commenced with a view to facilitating the arrest and
prosecution of the perpetrators.
