SHIMITE LOVE's husband breaks his silence on death allegations levelled against him

Wednesday, May 21, 2025 - Shimite Love’s husband, Pastor David Favour Love, has finally spoken out about her untimely d3ath and allegations against him. 

Shimite, 48, the Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Trade and Export, d!ed in the early hours of Monday, April 21, 2025. 

Controversy has trailed her d3ath, as some reports alleged that she d!ed of domestic violence. 

The spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, said the deceased's family had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the husband might have played a role in Shimite's d3ath. 

The PPRO further disclosed that Shimite's husband was taken into protective custody after he informed the police that his wife's family members were allegedly threatening his life. 

According to the PPRO, David Love told the police that his wife fell ill and d!ed.

In a series of posts on Instagram on Tuesday, May 20, David Favour Love mourned his wife, describing her as his own personal and special Angel. 

Love said he will no longer keep quiet amid the ‘different fabrication’ of his wife's d3ath. 

The pastor further alleged that Shimite's family broke into his house and stole their marriage certificate. 

He also claimed that a registrar in Abuja confessed that the deceased's family had asked her to deny he and Shimite's marriage. 

“My own personal and special Angel, this is not when you should go. Am going to release all the proofs of things that amounted to your d3ath to anyone who wants to expose evil and share truths. Am done keeping quiet!,” he wrote. 

"Evil shall never depart from all who assisted our enemies to do evil reportage. God ensured they couldn't destroy me after they believed they removed you with their different fabrication of your d3ath. They don't want the public to know but all their secrets shall be out. I want you back, my complete satisfaction. Am done keeping quiet!
