Wednesday, May 28, 2025 - The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has reacted to the trending video of entertainer Speed Darlington seemingly admits to having s3xual relations with a minor in a hotel.
In a statement released
on its X handle, the agency said the entertainer in his video did not mention
where the s3xual act took place. The agency pointed out that its jurisdiction
is just within Lagos, so it cannot take any action until the location has been
established. It further stated that it has alerted the National Agency for the
Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for it to take action.
The statement reads
‘’The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) is aware of
the disturbing video currently circulating online, in which a popular
entertainer allegedly admits to engaging in unlawful sexual activity with a
minor.
While the individual in question did not specify the location of the
incident during the Instagram Live session, we must clarify that the DSVA’s
jurisdiction is limited to Lagos State.
In view of the above, and in line with our commitment to justice, we have
escalated the situation to the National Agency for the Prohibition of
Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP). @naptipnigeria
