Fleeing Enugu native doctor arrested after bodies of kidnapped victims are discovered buried in his compound

Thursday, May 29, 2025 - The Enugu native doctor, alleged to be a kidnapper and ritual k!ller has been apprehended. 

High Chief Levi Onyeka Obu, nicknamed “Ezeani” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show,” was said to have been apprehended by the Nigerian Immigration Service while attempting to flee the country through a land border. 

The suspect was declared wanted after he fled when the bodies of kidnap victims, including a heavily pregnant woman, were found buried in his compound in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area. A 13-year-old girl was also rescued alive. 

Authorities say the suspect was intercepted before he could leave the country. 

A photo circulating online shows him in handcuffs, confirming his capture.
