Monday, April 28, 2025 - The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has thwarted another attempt to smuggle cocaine into Saudi Arabia.
Femi Babafemi, the agency's Director of Media and Advocacy
disclosed this on Sunday, April 27.
Babafemi said NDLEA operatives intercepted ten wraps of
cocaine hidden in bottles of body lotion.
This comes on the heels of a similar seizure a week ago, where cocaine was
found concealed in religious books bound for Saudi Arabia.
The statement said, "Barely a week
after #ndlea_nigeria officers discovered parcels of cocaine in
Saudi-bound religious books, the vigilant operatives have again intercepted
tens of wraps of the same substance in bottles of body lotion heading the same
route. Take a look."
