Friday, April 25, 2025 - Nigerian cleric, Emmanuel Iren, has said that nine out of ten women who go to their pastors with claims of being sexu@lly assaulted end up being false.
While speaking in his church, Iren said he has seen a lot of
situations like this happening as a pastor.
He recounted how a lady came to him with the claim that a
guy in his church had sexu@lly assaulted her. He said he vowed to get the man
thrown into jail. Iren mentioned that his mindset changed when the accused
brother presented Whatsapp chats he had with the said lady in which she
indicated that she had a ‘’nice time'' with him.
‘’In this
Ministry, nine out of ten cases where the women came and said they were
sexually assaulted ended up being false. I am not saying our opinion but by the
lady's own admission. The first few cases, I was still new in this business. I
was angry. There was one of them, I called the guy and said ‘As long as I am
alive I will arrest you, you will go to jail. You must go to jail’.
Then the guy
Whatsapped evidence…The girl who claimed they assaulted her said ‘it was a nice
time’. Ah ah!! why lie?
If he didn't
keep that message, he would have been in trouble''
