4-year-old boy calls police after his mother eats his ice cream ‘‘come get my mommy.”

Monday, March 10, 2025 - A 4-year-old boy called the police on his mother for eating his ice cream and the police resolved the matter inauguration unique way. 

The boy, who lives in the village of Mount Pleasant, in Wisconsin, USA, called 911 on Tuesday, March 4, in hopes of getting his mother arrested. 

“My mom is being bad,” he told a Racine County dispatcher, according to audio obtained by WCAX. “Come and get my mommy, come get my mommy.”  

As the dispatcher tried to figure out what the problem was, the boy’s mother found her son making the call and she grabbed the phone. She went ahead to explain why her son was unhappy with her. 

“I ate his ice cream so that’s probably why he’s calling 911,” she said as the boy's voice is heard still complaining in the background. 

Following the call, Mount Pleasant police officers stopped by the house where the boy had a change of heart. 

He told them he was still angry that he didn’t have any ice cream, but didn’t want to see his mother go to jail for it. 

The next day, the officers visited the house again with ice cream for the boy.
