Tuesday, February 25, 2025 - The National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, has begged Nigerians to help him raise the N100 million ransom demanded by kidnappers.
A vjdeo shared online showed Ojajuni shaking as a suspected kidnapper
held a gun to his face.
Speaking in a shaky voice, Ojajuni appealed to the public for financial
assistance to secure his release.
He said, "Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000,
N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life.
"My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help
me spread this video."
This comes following reports that the kidnappers has threatened in an
audio recordinf to k!ll the abducted youth leader by 3 pm on Monday, Feb.
24, if ransom is mot paid in 48 hours.
Confirming Ojajuni's abduction, the National Secretary of the Afenifere
National Youth Council, Abiodun Aderohunmu, said: "The Afenifere National
Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National
President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja. During the attack, he
sustained a gunshot wound, and we are extremely concerned about his
safety."
Aderohunmu called on the Federal Government and security agencies to
take urgent action to secure Ojajuni’s freedom.
