Man berates colleagues who didn't visit designer while he was ailing but closed their shops for 2 days to mourn him after he died

Saturday, February 1, 2025 -A Nigerian fashion designer, Quadri Yakubu, has called out his colleagues for not checking on one of their own, Adekunle (pictured) while he was sick but closed their shops to mourn him after he d!ed.

“Few days ago I lost a colleague, a fashion designer. While he was sick, I visited him severally and sent him a token on two occasions. When he decided to be taken to his village, I gave my support,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Friday.

"On my last visit before he was taken to his village against my advice, I remembered how he complained of some friends and colleagues not checking on him.

"On Wednesday, we heard of his death, guess what? Those of our colleagues who didn't check on Ade while he was sick all these while are closing shops for two days to mourn him! 

Hypocrisy right? Yes, that is how most humans are, they will rather cry at your funeral than help you recover when you are sick.

Take good care of yourself, No one really Cares! May the soul of Adekunle, rest in peace.
