Kenyan teacher hospitalised after he was beaten by the principal for reporting late

Thursday, February 27, 2025 - Vincent Onyancha, a secondary school teacher, allegedly found himself in conflict with the principal at his school

Onyancha claimed that the school principal entered his classroom while he was teaching and began kicking and slapping him

Due to the severity of his injuries from the alleged assault, the teacher was taken to a hospital in Ikonge, where he was admitted

What began as a routine morning for Vincent Onyancha, a teacher at a school in Ikonge quickly took a devastating turn.

This occurred after Onyancha was allegedly greeted with kicks and blows from the school principal for arriving late.

The teacher told Citizen Digital that his boss allegedly assaulted him in front of students while he was teaching in class.

"He kicked and slapped me. He then afterwards dragged me to his office where he continued assaulting me," the teacher
