Tuesday, February 25, 2025 - Erik ten Hag has broken his silence four months after leaving Manchester United earlier this season.
The Dutchman manager has been out of work since being replaced by Ruben
Amorim after a troubling start to the season. Matters on the pitch haven't
improved at Old Trafford under Amorim with the Red Devils in 15th.
Ten Hag was linked with the Borussia Dortmund job after Nuri Sahin
was sacked in January but Niko Kavic was appointed instead. There has been
speculation of him returning to Ajax but Francesco Farioli's men are currently
top of the Eredivisie.
After leaving United on the back of winning the Carabao Cup and FA
Cup in two seasons, Ten Hag is set to be a man in high demand at the end
of the season across Europe.
Now, for the first time since his exit, Ten Hag will speak out publicly
in a sit-down interview with SEG Stories podcast.
The talk is set to air on Tuesday but the trailer that dropped on Monday
sees the ex-United boss discuss his future and what he misses the most about
England.
"I had already decided for myself, 'Okay, I'm not doing anything
until July 1'," he said. "If there's one thing I miss it's Old
Trafford. You're always working towards a dot on the horizon, but you never get
to the horizon.
"We've had many highs, there is always room for improvement and
good is not enough. You can do better."
