Friday, January 17, 2025 - Nine members of a family have been confirmed de@D after a truck lost control and veered into their residential compound in Okete Village, Otukpo Local Government Area.
Details of the incident are still sketchy, however, the Police Public
Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Sewuese Anene confirmed the incident and said it
occurred in the early hours of Thursday, January 16.
The PPRO said that the command has launched a full investigation into
the incident and further information would be made available to newsmen.
