Two-year-old boy found abandoned at a dump site in Lagos

Thursday, December 26, 2024 - An abandoned two-year-old boy has been found at a dump site in the Iganmu area of Lagos State.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a post shared on his X handle on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. 

According to Hundeyin, the baby was found at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite on Monday night and taken to a police station. 

The police are now seeking public assistance in tracing the boy’s family.
