Monday, December 30, 2024 - The United States, US President-elect, Donald Trump has reacted to the death of ex-president, Jimmy Carter.
39th US President and a Nobel Peace Prize recipient died on Sunday at the age of 100 years.
Reacting, Trump in a statement on his official Facebook page, said the
deceased did his best to improve the lives of all Americans.
He called on his supporters, particularly Americans, to pray for the
bereaved family, stressing that Americans owe the deceased a debt of gratitude.
He wrote, “The challenges Jimmy faced as president came at a pivotal
time for our country and he did everything in his power to improve the lives of
all Americans.
“For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude. Melania and I are
thinking warmly of the Carter Family and their loved ones during this difficult
time.
“We urge everyone to keep them in their heart and prayers’.
